Jon Nabbs runs across NZ in record breaking attempt supporting the Child Cancer Foundation!
Jon Nabbs is a Kiwi from Kaipaki, setting out to run across New Zealand, from Bluff to Cape Reinga dressed as superman, with a goal to raise $250,000 for the Child Cancer Foundation. Jon will run an average of 80km a day, for a total run route of 2,034km over 28 days, which if achieved will be a Guinness World Record. Jon will be running with our Intents Outdoors Ultrapack DW lightweight tent on his back, camping across the country most nights (luckily for Jon, this tent is super lightweight at just 900g).
In 2023, Jon ran nearly 100,000km across Canada in 305 days - the equivalent of 172 marathons back to back! Now back on home soil, Jon hopes to give Kiwi children undergoing cancer treatment something that they can follow along with, be a part of, get excited about, and believe in!
We're pleased to be able to support this epic Kiwi on his epic adventure! You can be a part of it too by donating to the cause and follow Jon's journey, departing from Bluff on the 9th of May.
